Saline River/Lake - City of Saline

General Information

Saline millpond is an established lake in a picturesque setting similar to some naural waters in the UK, it hosts a large amount of fish and wildlife, fish species are, Bass, Suckers, Bluegill, crappie, Perch, Mirror carp and Common carp.

There are a lot of small carp this time of year and the lake has a reputation for producing fish in immaculate condition, most notably a population of fully scaled mirror carp, Andy has even caught a crucian out of here as well.

Larger Mirror carp have been spotted but not yet caught so there is a challenge in being the first to catch a larger mirror Carp from here.

The fish swim close in at about 10 to 60 feet from shore and can often be visible when feeding.
