Saginaw River - City of Saginaw Home Page
General InformationThe Saginaw River is a 22-mile-long (35 km) river in the U.S. state of Michigan. It is formed by the confluence of the Tittabawassee and Shiawassee rivers southeast of Saginaw. It flows Northward into the Saginaw Bay of Lake Huron just northeast of Bay City. The river is an important shipping route for Mid-Michigan, passing through the large cities of Saginaw and Bay City. The Saginaw River has been severely polluted with dioxin as a result of Dow Chemical's dumping over the years. Very large fish here high 30's and bigger. Large fish come in from lake huron to spawn, and if your timing is right you will get a new personal best from here. Current Weather
