This site is primarily to showcase my as well as my good friends' carp catches throughout the great state of Michigan, and to give you a little information on some of our lakes and rivers.

Having came over to the USA from England In 2001, I was surprised to find a great untapped resource in carp fishing here in Michigan, and more surprised that carp were not fished for as a great hard fighting fresh water fish within North America as they were back in the U.K.

I have since joined two great carp fishing organizations in the American Carp Society and the Carp Anglers' Group, which I strongly recommend a visit as you will meet like-minded people who fish for carp, from the amateurs to the more advanced carp angler. I am also the state chair of Michigan for the Carp Anglers' Group, so if you are interested in learning more about the club, certainly ask me for more details.

I hope you find my site entertaining and informative, I'm more then happy to answer any questions you may have on catch and release of carp in Michigan or any ideas for improvements to my site.
