I decided to fish the dam after scoping out the shoreline. The lake was very busy yesterday, lots of boats, jetski's and people.
I made it to the dam with only a couple hours to fish. The wife is pregnant and I do not want any trouble. I got set up and I really did not know what to expect. I didn't see any fish rolling or roaming the shallows as I set up. In less then fifteen minutes I had my fisrt fish on, it was a nice fat upper teens. I rebaited and within another fifteen I had another big one. I ended up with three fish landed out of six runs in two hours. I pack it all up and went to hang out with the wife and kids for a little while at the beach. The wife let me go again after an hour on the beach. I returned to the dam and almost instantly I had a BIG fish on. I got this one to the net and pulled it out and it was a BEAST! At this point I realized that I left my camera on the beach blanket with the wife and kids and let loose a nice long string of profane

words! This was by far the biggest fish I have ever pulled out of the Tittabawasse river. It had to be upper twenties! I asked all of the rednecks that were fishing the dam if they had any cameras and of course none did. I was unable to get a picture of the big one but needless to say it was a great trip and I do not think that the fish die off in the area has hurt the fishing at all.
I actually think that since the river didn't flood this year the fishing is better and the fish are bigger here in my area. Usually we lose quite a few big carp when the flood waters recede.
