My idea of camp stew - Meat & Potatoe Pie To The Brits

1½ lbs of Flank

2 medium sized onions

2½ lbs potatoes

1 pint of gravy stock

Cook beforehand and freeze then warm up on the bank serve and liberally splash with HP sauce add a tin of peas if desired.

Probably what I will take to the Saginaw event to keep me going.

I found HP Sauce at Meijers in Rockford, Mi, so I bought a bottle just to see what all the fuss is about. It was in the ethnic/English foods section, and sold for $4.20. I have not tried it yet. If I don't like it, I can always feed it to the carp.
Personally, I am a fan of A-1 sauce.
